Things To Do in Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz, popularly known for its beautiful beaches and board walk is just over an hour's drive from the Bay Area. We have taken several day trips to Santa Cruz and had the opportunity to visit a few beaches and the board walk. But, like any other place, there is more to do in this beautiful waterfront city.

Things To Do:

Natural Bridges State Beach
Once a sharp, rocky peninsula with a hole in the rock, over time due to erosion the rock got split forming a natural bridge. It is also a grove for the monarch butterflies that can be spotted between October and February. See Details...

Lighthouse Fields State Beach
Also called Point Santa Cruz, this dog-friendly beach along the West Cliff Drive hosts California's first surfing museum. See Details...

Municipal Wharf
Located on the West Cliff Drive, the Municipal Wharf offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and is also home to several sea lions. See Details...

Wilder Ranch State Park
Scenic paved trail along the ocean, offering an amazing view of the sunset. See Details...
